Hunt for treasure at the Ipswich Art Gallery (23 June – 10 July)
Calling all little treasure hunters!
Swing by the Ipswich Art Gallery these school holidays and dig for treasure in the massive Treasure Hunt sand pit!
It’s the perfect way to learn about fossicking and geology while having fun, and the best part? Whatever you find, you get to keep!
Open daily 9:30am to 3:30pm (excluding Sundays).
$5 per child (FREE for accompanying adults and children under 3).
Day out with Thomas at The Workshops Rail Museum (26 June – 11 July)
Meet Thomas and some of his closest friends these school holidays at The Workshops Rail Museum.
With plenty of Thomas-inspired activities including crafts, games, puzzles and a special Thomas Play Pit, there is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
Open daily 9:30am to 4pm. Bookings essential – $14.50 per adult, $11.50 children aged 3 to 15 and free for children under 3.
SPARK Ipswich (8 – 18 July)
In a reimagined Ipswich Festival, SPARK Ipswich will see the city come alive to showcase local talent and celebrate the people, places, arts and culture of Ipswich.
Check out the spectacular light-based installations each night of the festival at St. Mary’s Church, the new Ipswich City Council Administration building and the Bremer River.
