South-east Queensland development launches ‘above and beyond’ offer to first home buyers

Brentwood Forest by AVID Property Group (AVID) – a growing masterplanned community in Bellbird Park – has launched a $15,000 offer on selected blocks, matching the Queensland Governments First Home Owners’ Grant for eligible first home buyers hoping to build in the sought-after Greater Springfield corridor.

With first home buyer demand up 18.3 per cent in November 20181, Brentwood Forest is offering the incentive for those first home buyers looking for an extra ‘boost’ up the property ladder.

AVID Property Group General Manager Queensland Bruce Harper said the offer, launching on 1 February 2019, will encourage new families to the region.

“The incentive – a $15,000 boost on selected blocks bought at Brentwood Forest will go a long way in helping people achieve their dream of home ownership,” Mr Harper said.

“The offer is open to those eligible for the Queensland Government’s First Home Owner Grant –meaning these first home buyers could walk away with a $30,000 boost.”

“It’s important that amidst the property demand in the Greater Springfield corridor, there is a focus on buyers having a positive experience as they build their dream home in a high demand area – this offer is designed to do just that,” he said.

“The offer is in the form of a Visa Gift Card, which means eligible home buyers can spend it how they want – upfront costs, new furnishings, a holiday, school costs – or simply add it to their budget to help with daily living expenses.”

Brentwood Forest is distinguishing itself from the crowd with affordable housing options, a vibrant community and relaxed woodland setting.

AVID Brentwood Forest Development Manager Peter MacLeod said the launch of the $15,000 incentive* was ‘above and beyond’ anything offered before at Brentwood Forest.

“The demand in the Greater Springfield corridor is still there – Bellbird Park is located within the top 10 growth areas in south-east Queensland2

“The community here in Brentwood Forest is well established, there are great amenities, parks, schools, child care options – the Visa Gift Card is an added bonus for families dreaming of home ownership.”
