Tucker Family Park

The $1.4m Tucker Family Park has officially opened with a series of family-friendly celebrations, treating locals and visitors to free face painting, a jumping castle, a sausage sizzle and the opportunity to be the first to try out the innovative playground and facilities at the park.

The events were joined by several special guests, including the local Tucker Family members, Cr Paul Tully from the City of Ipswich and TV personality and fitness guru, Tim Robards.

The Tucker Family Park features a state-of-the-art custom made 9.2m high playground and the area’s first off-leash dog park. It will eventually be connected to the existing Rotary Park with a $1m linear pathway through the scenic surroundings and bushland.

The outdoor fitness area designed by playground pioneers Urban Play and AECOM landscape architects, with world-class equipment supplied by KOMPAN Australia. This new park was welcomed by Tim Robards, who gave a demonstration of the equipment at the launch event.

“It’s great to see a community like Brentwood Forest – who are lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful outdoor spaces – offer residents such a versatile park. The healthy influence and memories made here will be long lasting,” Mr Robards said.
