Tucker Family Park attracts TV personality for a community workout

Over the last month, the Tucker Family Park has brought together the community to celebrate the new ‘green jewels’ of Brentwood Forest. Complete with a custom-built 9.2m play tower with an 18m slide – the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere – an outdoor gym and the first off-leash dog park in the area, the Tucker Family Park has something for everyone!

Representatives of the original Tucker family joined Councillor Paul Tully on February 24 to officially cut the ribbon and open the park, with a separate event on Saturday 10 March welcoming special guest and TV personality Tim Robards to open and demonstrate the new fitness equipment and outdoor gym.

Former Channel Ten Bachelor and fitness guru, Tim Robards, said:

“Whether you want to lose weight or simply get fit, you really can train anywhere – KOMPAN’s fitness equipment is the perfect addition to any community park, with the unique KOMPAN app helping you to create a training program that is best suited to you, while allowing you to meet new people in the area.”

“It’s great to see a community like Brentwood Forest – who are lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful outdoor spaces – offer residents such a versatile park. The healthy influence and memories made here will be long lasting,” he said.

Brentwood Forest are hosting a FREE six-week bootcamp in the Tucker Family Park.

To celebrate the opening of the new Tucker Family Park ‘Pooch Park’, Brentwood Forest will hold a free family event on Saturday 24 March, 9am to 11am.
